Head On Vancouver

large | original | follow me

Another in my endless series of Vancouver aerials. I am finding this ongoing study to be a lot like a previous commuting ritual.

Three years ago each work day morning I walked the same stretch of the Galloping Goose trail in Victoria. Along the way I captured macro dew drop refraction shots and tried to refract landmarks in them as well. The result was my Thousand Drops of Light set of over 1300 dewdrop refraction images.

I doubt I will post 1300 Vancouver aerials, but it is a challenge to try to get the best angles. The helijet and float planes travel a limited number of what they call "transits" or paths between the two cities I live in. This means I am treated to the same opportunities over and over. The best I can do is continue the study and try to do better each time.
