Spring Light

This crocus is the first image I'll share with you from my new camera. David Lev style.

For years I have been converting my images' color space from sRGB to Generic RGB because I felt this produced a truer representation on the web of what I was seeing in Photoshop. This image above is straight out of the camera in the sRGB color space. The one below is converted to Generic RGB color space.

I'm interested in your impressions of both, which you prefer, etc. Do you see a difference or are they identical? They look identical to me.

I'm very happy with the camera. It is an enormous step upward in quality from my Canon G10. I will be doing a lot more work in the camera and a lot less in the digital darkroom from here on in. I want to learn this tool inside and out before I buy a professional camera. I want to know why I would buy a professional-grade camera before I buy one. Right now I don't know enough.

Oh, I am now an freshly minted glass addict. I am consantly on eBay trolling for lenses .
